Welcome to our Year 3 Page
This is our Year 3 teachers are Mrs Willliams & Mrs Khan
Hello! I am Mrs Williams and I was new to St James last year, but I have been a teacher for a long time in other Enfield schools. It is lovely to be here and I am loving being the new year 3 teacher alongside Mrs Khan. I only work in school for 3 days and on Thursday and Friday I am involved in running a Mums and Tots group at my church and being a governor at other Enfield schools. I trained as a science teacher and love teaching science. I also enjoy art and crafts - I have helped make props and costumes for school productions and am looking forward to our year together and all the learning and growing we will do together. When I’m not at school I have my hands full with my own two little girls; my eldest is currently in primary school and my youngest is just about to start reception. My class will always get to hear some funny stories about what they get up to at home! I enjoy learning new recipes to cooking and baking with my husband, and girls and I really enjoy going on adventures around England with my family. If you see me around the school don’t forget to say hello! |
Mrs Khan:
I’m excited to be teaching Year 3 alongside Mrs. Williams from Wednesday to Friday this year. This will be my third consecutive year teaching in Year 3, and it’s a year I’ve really enjoyed and always look forward to. I’m passionate about making learning fun and engaging, with a special focus on subjects like Maths, Science, Art, and PE. As you can probably tell, I love practical, hands-on learning that encourages creativity and excitement in the classroom!
I think it’s so important for children to enjoy their learning experience, and I aim to help each student feel supported and encouraged to flourish in all they do. Outside of school, I’m a wife and mum to a lovely son—who the class will definitely hear plenty of stories about! My family and I love staying active, spending time outdoors, swimming, baking, being creative, and enjoying quality time together.
I’m really looking forward to another wonderful year of growth and fun with my Year 3 class!
