Welcome to our Year 6 Page
Our vision: Within our community we strive to develop deep roots, strong growth and freedom to flourish as a unique and whole child of God
Mrs Oliveri & Mrs Loizou will be leading our Year 6 class:
Hello, I am Mrs Oliveri, and I have been a teacher in Enfield for 22 years, the last 9 here at St James’. I love reading and watching films. My favourite films are comedies and thrillers, but not horrors! I have two daughters, who keep me busy when I’m at home. One is at secondary school and my other daughter is now working.
My favourite subjects to teach are English, Science and RE, and I love learning from my students, which happens every day. I am very excited to be teaching in year three this year with Miss Khan. We have an amazing, fun-filled year planned, and we know that our students are going to flourish into their best, unique selves, ready for their next adventure.
I am Mrs Loizou! I have been at St James’ School since 2013 and have really enjoyed the amazing memories I have made here. I have taught different year groups throughout my time here and have had the pleasure of getting to know some of the families really well over the years. I am very excited to be job sharing in Year 6 with Mrs. Oliveri ,where we will create unique lessons for our class. I love teaching in Year 6 as children really flourish throughout the year and show their wonderful personalities. I look forward to working hard but also having lots of fun to celebrate their final few months with us at St James’.
When I’m not at school I have my hands full with my own THREE little girls; my two eldest girls are in Year 3 and Reception and my little one attends nursery. My class will always get to hear some funny stories about what they get up to at home! I love to cook delicious meals for my family and really enjoy letting my girls take the lead when we bake cakes. The kitchen is always a mess, but the memories are truly made. We love going on regular walks in the park, and we really enjoy going on adventures to theme parks and visiting beaches.
If you see me around the school, please come a greet me.
