St James' is a one form entry primary school which delivers a broad and balanced curriculum. We pride ourselves on our inviting learning environments which we aspire to excite and encourage our pupils.
From Year 1 to Year 6 we follow a creative curriculum. This means that each term the children have a new topic and as much learning as possible is linked to this topic. The children are encouraged to have a voice and contribute to decisions about their learning within the topic. They will make choices about what they learn and how they learn. The teachers work in a creative way to enable this to happen.
Click on the pages to the right and you too can visit each of our classes and see the range of topics and learning which takes place. You will see photographs and be able to view or download curriculum letters written by the teachers for more information.
